From Photo to 3D Model with AI, Ready for Your Webshop
With a few product photos, AI creates a first 3D model in minutes. A Vulp Studio designer then corrects the proportions and materials, so the model is ready for a 3D viewer, a configurator or AR on your own website.
Quick example: a chair from one photo

This chair is a quick example, not a finished model. We took one photo, let AI turn it into a 3D model in five minutes, and did nothing else to it. You can open that raw model in the Vulp viewer to see what the AI step delivers on its own.
For a model that goes into a webshop, we work from photos of every side, and a designer finishes it. For this chair, that would mean:
- replace the legs
- refine the texture so it matches the real chair
- adjust the colour and reflection of the material, so it looks realistic
- add the options your customers can choose, such as every available colour
How it works
Photos of the product from the front, back, left and right, the main dimensions, and a note on moving parts or variants the photos don’t show.
AI generates a first 3D shape from your photos within minutes.
One of our 3D designers corrects the proportions and rebuilds the materials, because AI output alone is rarely accurate enough to sell from.
The model goes into the Vulp 3D viewer or configurator, where we add variants, colours and parts.
What you send us
- A photo from every side: front, back, left and right
- The main dimensions, so the scale is right
- A note on any moving parts or variants the photos don’t show
Your existing product photos are fine. A single photo is enough for a rough first shape, but the more sides we can see, the less the designer has to fill in.
Not sure your photos are good enough? Send us one, and we will tell you.
When the AI route fits
The AI route is the right start when you want a result quickly and your product has organic shapes, such as a sofa or another piece of furniture. For other products, a different route usually works better:
- From a technical drawing, for manufactured products that engineering already has in CAD, such as machines and hardware
- From a 3D scan, for handmade and irregular products that exist physically but not digitally
- Built from scratch, for complex or unique products, and anything that has to look exactly right
What it costs
Of the five routes to a 3D model, the AI route sits in the lowest price band. We quote per product, because what a model costs depends on how complex the product is and how many variants it has, and you know that price before you commit to anything.
Who this is for
This is a service for brands, manufacturers and webshops that want to show their products in 3D on their own website. Looking for a free app, or a model to 3D print? Then this is something else: we make models for a 3D viewer, a configurator and AR.
