We have expanded the control over hotspots in our online 3D configurator. You can now independently enable or disable different types of hotspots, such as customize, informative, or animated hotspots. This allows you to use a single viewer to present your product in various ways, tailored to different goals—whether as a configurator, an informative display on a landing page, or a product render.
You can use the parameter hotspots to control if hotspots are shown in the viewer at start. Or use the active-hotspots parameter to set which hotspots are active.** This makes it easy to configure the presentation to match your needs.
With advanced hotspot control, you can easily switch between different hotspot types, ensuring your presentation always matches the intended use. Users get a targeted experience by showing only relevant information, interactions, or animations depending on the context. All settings are managed centrally, making your workflow more efficient and reducing complexity.
Hotspot types—such as custom hotspots for configuration, information hotspots for details, and animation hotspots for dynamic effects—can be toggled on or off via the viewer settings.
